PP bopp (Biaxiallyorientedpolypropylene film) is a transversely and longitudinally bidirectional stretched film. It is preferred as a packaging material with its 0.91 g/cm³ density, high strength strength and high quality optical properties.
PP Bopp Usage Areas
It is preferred with its superior properties compared to many packaging types. pp bopp is used as a packaging material in many areas such as cigarette, adhesive tape, paper cardboard lamination, cassette and flower, in the textile industry, especially in the food packaging industry. Although the investment cost is high, Turkish production is half of the consumption.
PP Bopp Production Stages

- Extrusion

Extrusion is the feeding of the raw material to the system. Molding is the drawing of film layers evenly into the molds in sheet form. Longitudinal stretching is the 4.5–5.5 ratio of the longitudinal stretching of the film. Transverse stretching is the stretching of the longitudinally stretched film with the help of transverse clips in accordance with the process. Film thickness measurement is the measurement of the thickness of the film by cooling it. Corona is the smoothing of the film surface to hold ink. Winding is the last stage of production and is the winding of the film on steel rolls. The slitting process, on the other hand, is the barcode packaging of the finished film at the end of automatic weighing and making it ready for shipment.
Composed of three layers as surface layer, main layer and surface layer, PP bopp film consists of heat-adhesive and non-heat-adhesive raw materials. It is used as packaging and transport material.
